Chickens sure do fight and feast on them. Even though they can truly strip a tomato plant of the leaves, we have found that after removing the varmint, the leaves will come back and the plant will be fine. We planted cherry tomatoes this year and did not see one worm at all. ") Your photos are always wonderful.

I was trying to look up what they become...some places say hummingbird moth others say not so. And I don't have time to really look in depth. But also wondered if they were the same as the tobacco hornworm, and they are not.

This is a great photo, BTW!
