Can you share something about this nest, Kathleen? I wondered if it was on your property andd what type of eggs these are since they appear rather than bird ones I have seen before.
I too am wondering what type of bird? Dove? I thought the nest looked better built than most dove's nests I have seen, but when I looked on line, they picture nests about like this. When I was a kid, I did not see how the eggs stayed in the nests they built. And where my husband worked before retirement, they always built on a windowsill and their nest material was pieces of chain-link fencing.

So true! Great photo.
I hope the eggs will hatch safely. The nest looks like it was hastily built.
Hugs, Julia
Such a sweet picture.
Am afraid the days are already getting shorter. UGH Savoring Summer while it lasts Janice
I like the picture but I must agree that the nest looks very hastily built.
I hope your summer is going along just fine.
