The snow has left

but Winter's icy breath still blows around the corners
of the house and through the dry grass of the prairie.
Her friend Jack Frost has been busy decorating the cars,

and the windows.

I am always in awe of this beautiful form of ice work!

Ooh, the windows and the car is painted so beautifully, thank you for sharing these lovely pictures.
The cake looks super delicious and I so want to make it right away.
My Valnetine's day this year would be to just go for a long walk with my family and enjoy the calm of togetherness.

Thank you for the link to your embroidery blog. Im on my way to look it up.

Best,

WOW... you have some neat photos there of Jack-Frost, he is an amazing artist huh? You need to frame those photos.

You are very thoughtful to post the design, I only wish I did hand work. I will leave that to the pros.

What will you be doing for valentines day?

It will be a quiet day here, we will exchange cards and I will cook something special.

Hope your day is a good one, stay warm!

Hi Kathleen, Your photos are beautiful; the frost makes amazing patterns!

Valentine's Day always brings memories of decorating white lunch sacks and our school teacher would write our names on them and line them up so that we could slip Valentines in each others' bags.

My favorite thing is a box of chocolates!

Wishing you a great day!

Kathleen, I love the frost pictures you took. They are so pretty, and the patterns are amazing.

My favorite thing about Valentine's Day would have to be anything that has to do with chocolate. :)

Loved those Jack Frost pics (o:
I would like my hubby to actually write something ... I am going to tell him not to spend money on a card...rather write me something.
That would be a huge stretch for hi (o:

You have great frost! We live in an old house and have found that old windows in an old drafty house make the prettiest frost. It is one of the things I love about winter.
