Hello Spring!

The Spring has come again
For the grass is growing green,
And among the fields of clover
Bright butterflies are seen.
The little birds are singing sweetly
As they fly from tree to tree...
The busy bees are gathering
The honey from the flowers,
And the merry birds are building
Their nests in sheltered bowers...

It's close to being officially spring, but we had a bit of snow last night! Not much, but still...old man winter is still hanging on!

We had more snow overnight so a reminder of spring is lovely this morning. Thank you!

I do wonder if the animals are as happy as we are when warmer weather arrives, or like us down south, staying indoors more as the cold mornings have already arrived. One golden flower would brighten the day so much.

I LOVE those. The yellow ones are called Missouri Primrose. At home we had white ones called gumbo lilies. They are so delicate.
