I am looking up the road into the new possibilities
of all I can do.................
I hope to start a fruit orchard and to raise berries...........
I have a new kind of pumpkin that I want to try to raise.............
my Zinnia seeds are lying in wait to touch the soft earth............
as well as the cosmos.............
I have decided to raise a vegetable garden this year,
and I have stumbled upon a "new way" of gardening..........that I cannot wait to experiment with,
and I hope that the grounds will someday look like the photo above......
I will let you know about the new gardening idea and take you along the journey in future posts.
With this New Year.................I am not looking back,
instead.........I am keeping my focus straight ahead,
armed with prayer, hope and faith.
How about you?
Are you looking back, weary of how last year was?..........or perhaps with sweet memories of things that occurred?
Or are you looking ahead with worry about what is to become?..........or maybe you are full of excitement and can't wait to step out into the New Year.
I would love to hear.
Happy New Year
dear blogging friends.

Interesting! A new way to garden, eh? I'll be looking forward to hearing about it!
I'm looking forward to next year, definitely! I, too, have many new ideas and plans!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family!
Absolutely straight ahead!! I'll look forward to hearing about your gardens and oh, to have an orchard again :)
Blessings!

I'm afraid I still think of last summer's drought and heat, the failure to grow much of anything, and wondering if I can keep the deer away from the flowers come springtime. But give me another month or two and I'll be planning for another garden and the planting of seeds; the newness of life.
A new way to garden sounds interesting! Maybe I can get motivated sooner!
I'll be watching for your post about gardening. I didn't even attempt a garden last yr & I don't regret it - it was such a harsh yr for gardeners. I think a yr break is enough though & I'm ready to get back to work.
I just love your list. Makes me happy : ) Don't wait too long to tell us about the new gardening.
Happy New Year...I've got a stack of garden catalogs I am waiting to read come January!

Like most years, 2011 was both good and bad. We walk into 2012 with hope and faith that it will be a lot more of the good and a lot less of the bad. I was just looking at my potting soil and thinking I need to get seeds started. I've tried a lot of different fruits over the twenty plus years we've lived here. So far blackberries and figs are the true winners. I'll be watching to see how things do for you further West. Happy New Year!!
Wish we had made better plans when we first got to NC..wish I had planted Pecan Trees instead of the ornamental Pears..they bloom , stink and then are finished :o( Thank goodness there was room for Pears, Peaches and Apples..on this "Almost an Acre" farm :o);
Ahhh, so nice to be looking ahead with new hopes and dreams. Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel...here we come 2012! Happy New Year!
I too am looking ahead in this coming new year. We have decided to move closer to family, especially grandchildren. But to make this happen means getting rid of accumulated stuff, which we have already started to do, and most importantly to sell our home before we can move. So there is both excitement and stress mingled together as we contemplate a new venture. Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year. Thanks for sharing your life through your blog posts. It has been a pleasure to read them. Good luck on the new gardening plans.
I am looking forward to spring and have lots of new ideas in my head (one is to finish the things I have started...have a box full) so I guess I should make a list too huh? :)
Hugs
