I'm Too Sexy For My Coop

A drop from the extreme heat down to a pleasant cool temperature,  has put my hen  Gladys,
along with the other hens, into molting stage.

Oh, Kathleen. You are so funny. I think I've heard that song on commercials! Poor little chicken!
I hope they grow new feathers fast, cause that is just TOO revealing! Have a good week!

That poor naked thing! Now when your chickens molt, they really molt! None of mine have ever molted that much.

She is so cute Kathleen, talk about a plucked chicken, hope she soon gets her winter coat.

I read your last post, about the drought you all are having, our daughter lives in Texas and has the same problems, we are praying for relief soon. and by the cattle being sold, I think we are really going to feel this in the grocers. and being farmers our hearts go out to them so much.We know what it is to have to sell before you plan.

Enjoy your week.

Oh no, how did I miss this one. Bless that baby's heart, I hope they wont make fun her in the coop. But she will be strutting her stuff when the new beautiful feathers come in.

Kathleen, sorry to say but Gladys definitely looks better with her feather on than off, so she won't working the chicken strip tease circuit anytime soon. Glad the temps have cooled down, now hope and pray that the rain follows soon.
