Isiah 41:10
This is a prayer for rain in those dry areas of America
As evidenced by people living in Oklahoma, West Texas,
South Texas, and New Mexico. . . also ever-increasing areas in other parts of the country,

the drought condition is reaching critical status;
cattle are being auctioned off; crops have burned
up; and drinking water is becoming a concern.

Lets make this one of the largest prayer circles ever.
Please join us in this prayer circle.
Dear Heavenly Father,
You said whatsoever any two or more come together
and agree and ask in Your Son's name it shall be given.

We come to you, humbly, and ask that you bring down the rain to our parched lands.
Our farmers and
ranchers need it desperately, as well as our firefighters.
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank you all who have asked about our safety and who are praying for all of us. Blessings,Kathleen

Oh this is wonderful. There is power in prayer. I am in.
Now is a good time to humble ourselves and pray!
ME TOO!!! I have been in for sometime. I have even asked the rain clouds to head your way, we don't need any more rain for at least two months!

Kathleen, this is one awesome post. I am in with you on this.
Humble ourselves to him is key and pray.
We too are in need of rain. The ground is cracking bad from the drought. We have been advised to water our properties so the ground does not crack around our houses and buildings for it will crack them as well.
Thank you for your post.
I've been thinking about you Kathleen. I hope it is all right with you if I post your prayer on my blog for some here who might not see it. We must pray.
That is a great prayer. I have seen the news and it looked like almost the whole state of Texas was on fire. It seems so unreal. I do pray rain will come!

Indeed, there is power in prayer! Joining up with all of you in prayer for the blessing of much-needed rain. We feel somewhat in need of rain here as well, but the situation is nowhere near as dire as other parts of the country. Bless all of you, and may God bring on Showers of Blessing where it is needed. -Tammy
You have my prayers, Kathleen. I've been thinking of you a lot recently upon hearing about all the fires there. It's so scary to think about what is happening. Hugs to you.
Yes! Dear Father , please give respite to the drought-stricken lands of our nation..rain. Healing, refreshing, nourishing rain. Please encourage those who seek You in these times, and reward those who seek you and your salvation.
Few of us know what that kind of drought feels like! I've been on vacation this week up in cool, wet, lush Wisconsin watching your reports on the weather channel. I can hardly believe that people are literally running for their lives ahead of the fires, but it is true. Water is critical to life. We who have it need not to take it for granted. Thank you Kathleen.

been praying all along - we are desperately in need of rain here in North Texas - fires begin every day. we know the Lord's timing is perfect - perhaps He is humbling us and drawing our eyes upward instead of being so earthly focused. Thanks for reminding people - prayer is NOT a last resort it should be our first weapon against life's assault.
I love that you are asking for prayer for those in need of rain. We all need to remember them right now. I hope everyone also remembered to pray today for this Nation and for all the survivors of the 9/11 tragedy.
Thanks for coming by my blog and commenting. My first experience with seeing potted pineapple plants was at Festival Hill in Round Top, TX. I worked there (an amazing Music Institute) for five years and they had an amazing garden! Their pineapple plants were all bearing baby pineapples! I hope yours will bear one of these days! Anyway, that's also where I got the plumeria "stick" I gave my Mom. It was a pruned branch. Their gardens are wonderful! I'll repost some old stuff about Festival Hill onbe of these days...
All my best
Marie
Praying with you and for the rain. love,Diana
