Hey Kathleen - I love your pictures today. Chickens and eggs. Perfect. I want chickens and eggs. It's not quite time yet, but getting closer. I've got too many irons in the fire right now. House is for sale, farm is calling my name. Can't wait to get there!
I like this question; it made me think this morning. (it's early and I'm having my coffee). I'm happy to read the blogs I follow and feel as if I'm visiting friends. Like You! I'm having lunch with my friend Jill today. She is battling breast cancer and I'm thankful for the opportunity to spend some time with her. Toodles, Deb
My happiness is knowing the lord and where I am going once I leave this earth AND be to have a hand full of chickens that lay those lovely colored eggs. Yep! you are blessed to be able to have that. I love that basket of eggs... beautiful!
I'm right there with you with the chickens and eggs, Kathleen! We have a rooster for the first time this year and believe it or not - he makes me happy. He's such a beautiful boy and so intent of guarding his "women". He's really funny to watch.
So many other things make me happy, too - my family for sure, my home, the ability to do things for others, but most of all that my name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
I agree, Kathleen... a yardful of happy hens makes me smile! (And the eggs are a blessing too!) I love the smell of spring... everything seems so fresh, like it's waking up after a long winters' nap.
I am just a little different and my Happiness today is if the sun would shine and temps get to at least 70 degrees and also for my big pups that love to come and get in bed with me in the morning after DH lets them out of their crate and they go out to use the bathroom. I am also thankful for my friend that will be driving 250 miles to spend a few days with me crafting...I know we will have fun

I love your pictures today, Kathleen. Happiness is sitting down to dinner with the family together today. :) I hope you are having a good week!
Waiting for eggs here. Hearing from others who find happiness in chickens and eggs makes me happy too.
My happiness, Kathleen, is knowing that I am married to my best friend and that he supports me unconditionally.
