Sweetie (my husband), Sophie, (the loyal dog) and I went for a walk to watch the clouds gathering in an approaching storm. The storm looked menacing, but there was still beauty in it's clouds.
I took this photo above, because of the red color mixed in with the blue. I was surprised when I got a better look at it on my computer..............look at the photo where the red is..................does it not look like a snarling coyote? To me, it seems to have a snarling nose, with the teeth and mouth being the red part.................the eye and the forehead are at the top. Do you see it? If you enlarge it by clicking onto it, you can see it better.
However, the storm was good, bringing us much needed rain and coolness to the dry parched land. One thing I have noticed a lot out here.............there is always a rainbow in one direction or the other. When I see this.......I am always filled with comfort. I know the reason rainbows are created, scientifically, but I get comfort from what the Bible says about God's promise.
How about you??
Have you seen any strange creatures hanging out in your clouds lately?? A dragon?.........or a flying elephant perhaps??
Have you ever tried to follow a rainbow to see where it ends? lol..........
I would love to hear!

Hi Kathleen, I see your coyote in the clouds! Very pretty rainbow photo too. Here in GA, we have a LOT of kudzu vines covering trees and abandoned barns etc. and John and I always see "creatures" in those shapes!
I hope you will have a restful and enjoyable weekend.
I love the picture and yes I SEE it. Mean dog of some kind (o:
Liked the nice dog in the flowers in the last post (o:
funny thing the word verification ends with DOG
Kathleen, first I thought you were working too hard :o)
Then when I saw it too! (I even saw it's ear! I thought we both needed some rest :o) LOL
It's funny the things you can see in the clouds, as a child I thought it was God playing with me ..I was lonely as an only child and thought he knew it...Ginny
I see it. I'm always looking at clouds while my DH drives and am always pointing out figures that I see. Of course, DH has to keep his eyes on the road. LOL
Have a wonderful weekend.
Irma :)
I see it too! Storms can be menacing AND beautiful. Some of the best sunsets come behind storms. Have a nice weekend!
Kathleen, I do see the coyote! What a neat picture. Rainbows always give me a calm feeling. :)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Kathleen....I saw the coyote even before enlarging the picture...so detailed...loved the snarl and all the teeth. I'm always looking at the sky and clouds for a hidden picture....I caputred a moon picture with haze around it and when I put it on the computer you could see a heart...it was awesome....hugs, Linda
I LOVE the sky too, can't ever get enough of it all. I do see what you see here...awesome! :D
Yes, I do see your coyote... but other than the red teeth it looked to me like a happy dog running for the fun of it :)
Have a great holiday week-end. Hope you don't have to work. I do have to take about 80 rabbits to the market truck on Monday, doesn't matter if it is a holiday. We are having much nicer cooler weather right now. Gome on, Autumn!
Nice pictures!! Yes, I do see the coyote!
Hello Kathleen,
I can see the coyote too. I wonder how many other creatures are out there. I love cloud watching, I know there is a proper name for that.I think cloud watching will do me. I am so pleased you had some rain. Rainbows are so beautiful. Have a great week.

I see the coyote! Gorgeous pictures! I love when the sky looks like that! I feel like He is painting a picture just for me!
Gorgeous cloud photo! I don't see the dog creature but I certainly see creation.
I certainly do see it, like a Jackson Pollock painting isn't it.
I love, LOVE your rainbow!!!!

Hi Kathleen - Yes, I see the coyote. We used to lay on our backs in the summertime out of school and watch the clouds. It's fun to go back and be a child again... Nice sky pics.
We had a little shower a few days ago, and I caught a full rainbow on film myself - will have to show you! Have a wonderful week!
Beautiful pictures, Kathleen- I see the coyote! I love rainbows- however, there are so many mountains around here, they just disappear into the next valley and you can never tell where they begin or end. I never get tired of seeing them, though!
Wonderful picture....I'm looking and yep...I see it. We saw a rabbit the other night. Love the clouds as they tumble across the sky!
