A dark cloud has come over our lives this week..............

Our oldest son, Zack,  (only 33) has been having some issues these past few months
which led him to have an MRI.  The MRI has shown that he has 3 tumors
on his brain and that he will need surgery as soon as possible.
We are in the stages of awaiting word  and getting things lined up
with a neurosurgeon.
The worry and heartbreak from this devastating news
is all that we can bear........as we do not know what the outcome of this
serious surgery will result in.
We cling to our faith and are thankful for the comfort that supportive words and prayer
from family and friends has brought to us.
It may be awhile until I return back here to post..........
hopefully with happy news of Zack's recovery.
Your well wishes and prayers are always appreciated
and we thank you.

Our prayers are with you and your family, Kathleen, and I am sure fellow bloggers will feel the same after reading this post. We send only good thoughts for Zack and everyone during this very trying and worrisome situation.

That is somber and frightening news. I am so sorry this has happened. Nothing strikes at a family's heart and especially a mother's heart as deeply as the illness of a child (of any age). I will pray for Zack, say a Rosary for him, and light candles for strength on his journey and his recovery.

Kathleen, I am so sorry. But God. Who is rich in mercy. He will be right there with you and your son and all your family, every step of the way. I will be believing the great God of all comfort will comfort you all and strengthen you with His might for this battle. And I will be believing for complete healing for Zack!

Words come with love, and hope, and all caring thoughts that you and Zack and all others in your family know we send this with all our hearts. No parent would want this for their child, no matter the age, let the surgeon be held in our hearts as well. Love, XXXX

Oh Kathleen, I'm so sorry. This is a terrifying time for Zack, but equally so for you as a mother. I will hold you in my thoughts constantly and hope for the very best outcome. The only thing I can think to say is that these days medical science can overcome so much. From all sides, your son will be in good hands.
