are now growing on the grounds...........
they are such a delight to see each day out in my garden.
The pomegranate tree has got quite a few fruit on it's limbs
and the ornamental gourds and pumpkins are starting to fill out their beds with their vines and large leaves
with an assortment of different
and colorful gourds
and my favorite........pumpkins
the Lantana bushes are all in full bloom
and I have planted zinnia in containers........
and in one very large garden space.......
that I hope ,soon, will bloom and I can show you.
The prairie is still full of colorful wildflowers.
The Mexican Hat Coneflowers have caught my eye
and my imagination...........so I captured them in my embroidery.
It has been extremely hot ........sometimes, humid.......
yet we have gotten wonderful rain.
So tell me..........what is growing in your gardens?
How is the weather treating you?

Right now we have strong winds, rain and at 8 p.m, so dark outside. Love your garden flowers, and such beautiful stitchery.
Beautiful embroidery! (Might influence me to try out some as I have the materials and have wanted to learn to embroider!) So neat those wildflowers and also to grow pomegranates! Everything is growing in high-swing in your gardens! Andrea
I love the sunflower and have planted some here and there on our property. I would love them as big as dinner plates. :) That is a wildflower I have never seen. It would catch my eye, too. We are enjoying the daisies that grow wild here and my perennials are at their best right now. Sundrops, Iris, Hostas...
What a beautiful beautiful place you have! I love all the flowers and that sunflower is amazing. Sunflowers make me happy. Even more amazing is your embroidering. Our garden is coming along pretty good but got a slow start. Finally the tomatoes are blooming, and the bean vines. Hopefully, there will be vegetables soon.
I really love sunflowers, but cannot grow them. Your garden is coming along nicely! As for what's growing here? Mostly the things that come back every year;
ginger and some low growing yellow flowers! My roses have, once again, been taken over by grasshoppers. :(
Beautiful flowers and gourds and of course I love your embroidery, it is perfect as always!
The sunflower is begging to be captured by your embroidery work! Will these make seeds for birds to eat? I have some smaller ones in the bud stage; the first year I've grown them so I'm anxious to see what they look like. The weather here is hot and getting very dry, as usually happens just as the veggies reach the stages of bearing.
I love your sunflowers! Everything else is looking great! It's fun to check on the gardens each day and see what is new since you looked the day before. :)
Wow your plants are so ahead of mine! That is lovely embroidery. Very talented! -Jenn
Like Sally I can't seem to grow Sunflowers except for a single one ( that the birds must have 'planted') growing in a crack in the walkway. Yours is quite lovely.
Our weather has been cool and showery but we're hoping for a sunny weekend ( for Canada Day and also a family wedding).
Wow, I love all the things you have growing! Your embroidery was so lovely!
I love how you find the prettiest things to share here! Your sunflower is pretty, and that embroidery - oh WOW!!! It is gorgeous.
It's raining cats and dogs here and my farm is full of weeds!
I love your embroidery-and the pomegranate! I can't imagine having them in my yard!!! My husband was impressed too! Love your gardens and the beautiful sunflowers....
The sunflowers reminded me of the ones we grew in our VA yard a few years ago. They are my favorite summer bloom. We saved the seeds for the birds to enjoy.
What wonderful pictures! Alas, my cucumbers bit the dust and my squash look like they might too. But the tomatoes are doing well and I harvested a huge pile of basil today. I only have a few containers on the deck but it's fun to watch them grown and produce. When I can get outside because, like you, the humidity is awful! blessings, marlene
