and back into my posts again.
The purple stock flower always blooms at this time of year and the fragrance of it's blooms
fills the air
attracting the honey bees.
The cheery yellow Jasmine still has a few blooms clinging to it's vines
and the flower beds surrounding our home is full of Larkspur
which will be tall spikes of colorful blossoms in just a few weeks.
I am thinking about transplanting some of these hardy types of plants and flowers up
on the now cleared meadow that I have posted about in my recent posts.
They grow with only the help of the seasonal rain and are drought and munching varmint free.
I am thinking of scattering wildflower seed by the pound, instead of the native grass seed onto this area.
So tell me............what is blooming and buzzing in your back yard?

Azaleas and camellias are beautiful right now. They were late this year.
:)
Your flowers are beautiful! We have crocuses peeking through and a few budding daffodils, but we are getting more snow again today, so I guess the flowers will have to wait a while.
Sadly, the only thing in my back yard right now is 9" of fresh snow with more falling! Guess I'll have to enjoy your yard for a while ;)
So nice to see some green and beautiful blooms! It's still winter and dreary here.
So beautiful! Only a few daffodils are blooming here.
It's so beautiful. It's summer here and my mother's garden is a myriad of colors.
How exciting to think of having an entire wildflower meadow!
Wow! I love your beautiful photos. It's wonderful for spring to come. Enjoy your lovely season. Spring isn't here yet, but I sure look forward to it.
