"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands........" 1 Thessalonians 4:11

For just a short time, these past few days,

I had all of my flowers gathered........into one sweet bouquet.

I excitedly ran to the airport and picked up my daughter, Hannah, who has been away in the Navy,..........but worked very hard to get clearance to join

her two brothers, Zack, the computer wiz, on the left, and Joseph, the physics brain, on the right, who were already waiting for her to join them and the rest of our family at Joseph's high school graduation.
What a happy and busy time!

My cheery bunch enjoyed catching up with each other and we spent the few short days, visiting, remembering, and laughing. Now, Hannah has flown back to Hawaii, Zack is back to his job, and Joseph is about to start his journey in life. I am not sure when I will have them all together again.
Life has taught me to enjoy these moments that come and go as if on wings of an elusive butterfly.
How about you? Are you able to have your family all together at one time a lot..........or does it take some planning to make it all happen?
I would love to hear

My family is so scattered, it is rare even half of us get together but it is the sweetest time. I know you are proud of the children, they look like such nice kids.

Your kids all have the same great smile. And what a great, smart, successful group! My daughters and I are usually able to all get together at Christmas time and what fun that is!

Our children live close to us but we don't see them very often. Life is just too busy for them. We only get to see two of the six grandkids now and then. Everyone was here, minus two grands, for our 50th wedding anniversary in Dec.

I know you must be very proud of your children, and they of their mom.

It's so nice to "meet" your family, Kathleen. I'm glad you were able to spend some time with them. My family gets to see each other often now, but that will change later this summer when my older son goes off to Florida for graduate school.

Oh Kathleen, how wonderful to have your kiddoes all together! I treasure those moments SO much! Two boys and a girl - me, too! I'm glad they all got to share that special time at their brother's graduation! You have a nice bunch of kids there - they all look so happy!

Kathleen, it is a blessing when family can get together. Sadly, my brother and I do not socialize, but only talk occasionally. I am closer to my husband's family and we try to see them whenever we visit CT and RI, a 10 hour drive from the VA eatern shore, but well worth it. It was wonderful that your children were able to be there for Josephs's graduation.

I'm so happy for you. I've learned that times together are getting fewer and farther apart as everyone's directions change. I'm glad yours worked out! You must be very proud of your daughter. AND your sons :D Wish our Marines were going to Hawaii instead of Japan, but it wasn't my decision! :(

So good you were able to have your sweet babies together again and what a cute bunch you have there.

I love the tie Joseph is wearing...

God has blessed you well.

It seems the older they get get, the harder it is to get everyone together in the same place at the same time. But it is SO worth the effort. Glad you had all your chicks in the nest for a little while!

You sure have a beautiful family, Kathleen. I'm so glad you could get together. I wish your daughter the very best in the Navy. I also wish your son who graduated a great future and that your other son will prosper well in his career. You are so blessed to have such fine looking children.
