And a very Merry Christmas to you! A quiet house after so much work must seem like heaven! We have had Christmas's when our home was torn up..and yes, it makes it difficult to celebrate like normal! Are you baking? That helps to get the spirit going! The post about your grandparents is wonderful! I didn't have grandparents who were alive while I was growing up. But..I did have Aunt Pearl and Uncle Cleve! They were old, and they had big laps. Going to their tiny home was enchanting and I loved them more than I can say! Lots of fond memories!
