This is a wonderful thought and gentle reminder. It is a blessing to be content...for me, the older I get the more I feel peace and contentment. Not always, everyday but most days...hugs, Linda
THat is exactly what everybody is looking for - they just look in all the wrong places! Your kitty certainly looks content! Thank you for the reminder this morning Kathleen!
One of Paul's writings which we cling to in our current life situation - it is warm, we are well fed, have our faith, friends and internet - what more could one need? Love the cat picture - cats sleep better than any 4 legged critter!
Such a sweet and cozy picture and I am very content today to be out of Georgia's unusually cold weather. We're enjoying the extra activity of the pretty birds!
I need to print that out and put it on my computer...and in my purse...and on my mirror...and in my pocket... and so on and so on. I LOVE THAT!!!!!! Truer words were never spoken (well, written) ~ ♥
Kathleen - need a favor!! Would you place advertise my new blog site - Community of Intercessors. http://communiyofintercessors.blogspot.com/ I'm trust the Lord on this one. I sure feel it is His commission for me at this time in my life.

Hello!!!
This is a great reminder. I love that feeling of contentment when so many do not seem to have it. Is it an age thing?
Enjoyed my first visit.

True words, and the very picture of contentment. I will try to keep this in my heart these difficult days.
I try to be! Sometimes, I do need reminding!
Oh, I envy this kitty, laying in that nice sunny spot, soaking up the rays. Yes, I need to learn to be more content.
Your resting cat is a perfect picture for this verse. There are few animals who can be content with themselves and the world as the average cat is....
Isn't it just like cats to be able to find the warm spot in the house and relax. We do need to just be and let things be.

Happy New Year old friend! What a beautiful and promising way to begin this new year.

I love that verse too... and I love the picture of Salem- he looks very content.
What a perfect illustration for that quote!
What a wonderful picture! It is so easy to get caught up in the rush of things going on and forget to be content! Thank you for the reminder!
