There's A Change Coming

You may have noticed I have changed my blog title.....just a little. For the past year or more, I have been posting my hand embroidery(my true passion) on my other blog, Yesteryear Embroideries....http://yesteryearembroideries.blogspot.com/ However, I sometimes run out of ideas to post about on both blogs and doing both can be very time consuming. So I am going to combine my country living posts and my embroidery posts on this blog. Sometimes you might read about the dirt, the flowers and the critters, and sometimes you might read about my latest stitching efforts. I am going to keep my embroidery blog for tutorials, links to stitching and hand made interests and such. If there is something new I think you might be interested in, I will post it on my "side link" to my other blogs. I still have my cooking blog.....http://countrykitchenkat.blogspot.com/ and I am also working on my "Embroidery Shop" blog where I can offer my stitching services to everyone, but I might just combine this with the existing embroidery blog. I want to thank all of you who stop by all of my blogs to say hi and to let me know what you are thinking. That is what makes blogging so fun. It is always interesting to hear from everyone in every corner of the world. All of you blogging friend's blogs will be linked here on my side bar. Once again, thank you for your blogging friendship!

I keep my one blog for all the reasons you just discussed consolidating yours! Really, I cannot separate my family, animals, home, God, and wool working into compartments because they are all things I am very passionate about and ALL are interwoven in my life, thoughts, daily activities and I blog about my life and those around me.....

I do keep another blog that is JUST about my sheep and dogs...and also a vehicle to publish pictures and information about them , especially should I decide to sell them. This allows anyone to look them up and read extensively...which we can't do affordably in a newspaper! It also gives me quick reference to the info, and that is a BIG help...don't you just love all Blogger has to offer..for FREE?

I too love reading and 'meeting' people from all over the world and communicating instantly via Blogger. I enjoy and am blessed by your posts Kathleen...sorry this is so long! Thank-you1

I would be the last person to judge anyone about what they want to do with their blogs...my newest venture started out to be just a recipe blog that I was doing for my daughters sake...I should have known I would eventually get to feeling like I would want to share more ;D

I will admire whatever you share here!

I looked at your recipe blog and see we have the same sense of humor where LOLcats is concerned...loved the "Fat Cat Bread"!!

I love the new name.

My blog started out being mostly about books but it has morphed into all areas of my life. :)

I started the separate recipe blog as a place to "park" recipes to make it easier to look up later.

Either way, I'll still be reading. I enjoy all 3 of your blogs!

Wow... I 'only' have two blogs and that's hard enough to keep up... I can't imagine trying to keep up 3!! I can totally understand consolidating them!

Your storage shed is so very neat and organized! It puts me to shame most dreadfully. Our sunporch is 'that place' where everything lands until we decide what to do with it. Years ago I used to roller skate there, now I can just barely walk from one end to the other. I have done a complete overhaul several times, but no sooner am I finished than someone brings something very large in; a weight bench with enormous weights, a treadmill, a set of drums, in addition to the portable closets, books, fabric, and growing things. It's not a place I share pictures of, believe me!

O goody...I'm glad you're combining the two, thanks! Life is, well...life and, for me, can't be compartmentalized.
God's blessings on you, yours and the work of your hands and heart.
