I cant wait to rush outside

in the late afternoon
to see what the sky .........is wearing........for her night out.
Tonight.......her moon was a large pearl.........in a wrap of blue and pink

and her dress was lit in colors of pink, peach, purple, and light tones of gold

with a sway of  red and firey, wild hair

All of this............in one late afternoon.......
as quickly as she gave me this fashion show,
she let it fade........... all away.........I turned around

and saw her " goodnight" message.
Here's wishing you wonderful afternoon.........night
as well!

Beautiful words for the night sky, from your heart, I am so much happier for reading them, poetry across the seas.

I am always in awe of the skies Mother Nature creates. You captured Her excellence perfectly.

What beautiful pictures. The sky is ever changing, isn't it? God dazzles us constantly if we'll just look up. I hope you are recovering well from your spider bite. A friend of mine was bitten by a recluse some years ago and it's made me jumpy about my attic storage and gardening.

Beautiful sky pictures, Kathleen. It always amazes me how quickly the colors and patterns change as the sun sets.

This is just beautiful, the pictures and your words. We live in the woods and have a hard time seeing much of the sky. You do make me want to walk out to the road though and look up.

The fourth photo was my favorite in this grouping as it was the most dramatic.
