The reason I can't wait to open my eyes

in the early morning hours and greet the day.............

The only sound .....as I watch this beautiful day unfold......
is the melodic song of the birds in the woods and out on the prairie.

Besides the alarm clock...........what wakes you in the early unfolding of the day?

I love morning so much I am usually up at 6 a.m. without an alarm! Morning light and quiet and peace are my favorite. I love the beginning of a new day :)

Ditto to Kathleen's words. I am a morning person, the proverbial "fowl" and that quiet time, birds wakening, sun dawning, the sky changing so fast, coffee by the fire in winter, outside on summer mornings, who could not be there to see the start of every day?

Beautiful photo's.

When I open mine; I'm so glad to still be here, and thank God for another beginning.

My first response would be CATS!
Secondly, like you, I love the beauty and stillness of early morning. A quiet time to pray for the day ahead. I love sitting by my office window early in the a.m., drinking coffee and watching the sun come up and listening to the birds.
You had asked if we grow strawberries. No, but we live close to a huge farm that grows berries, peaches, apples, figs, grapes, etc. We love summer eating!

I hate to throw cold water on the happy thought of waking up to the sunrise and birds' singing, but I'm usually awake because of a hurting hip and legs. :)

Hello Kathleen,

Lovely photo's of the morning in your area. Kookaburra's have been waking us up lately, they have a very unique sound!

Happy days.
Bev.

I love the morning. I love robins singing. In the evening when it's warm in the spring I love to hear the peepers. We have them close to our home.

I love early morning too. When the kids were little, mornin' was MY time!

Hello greetings and good wishes.

Amazing photos.

The first thing I hear in the early morning is the long sounding cry of Allaaaah from the Mosque nearby, after sometimes I hear loud songs being played in the Hindu temple close to my house and at last I hear Church bells ringing. By this time all the birds are awake and make loud noise from the trees around my house.

Best wishes

Wow! What a beautiful sight to awaken to! I feel a bit cheated if I miss seeing the sun rise.

Gorgeous photos, Kathleen! My husband's alarm clock wakes me most mornings, but when it doesn't, the sun peeking in through the blinds usually does it. :)

I awake to the sound of cock's crow and my dog's barking.
