Our daughter and granddaughters are not able to come home this year. Our daughter is an RN and is scheduled to work at the hospital the day before and the day after Thanksgiving. So it will be a quiet time for us. It's alright because my dear Steve has been having so much back pain lately that he just need rest.
Your pies look amazing, I love how decorative you make your top crusts, they are works of art :)
Have a gloriously happy day!
Connie :) Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1755931701182556976.post-72475393944426694862018-11-08T20:48:39.103-08:002018-11-08T20:48:39.103-08:00Those pies are beautiful! My garden is ka-put,got frosted, but somehow there's beauty in it now too. I love praying mantises, and I always hold them when I find them. We also go for walks, but your views are more scenic unless we go to the large city park near the mill apt. Unfortunately, it has been a bit rainy in recent weeks and we have not gone there to walk. The peach and cherry pis look so good that I wish we lived closer! Our holiday plans are that we will be meeting with my brother and his wife, niece and her husband and granddaughter and her parents and all having dinner together. Hope your children are able to travel home for Thanksgiving.Beatrice P. I remember in the past my roses would be done at the beginning of September. My husband used to raise chickens when he was young. He always talks about his Banny Roosters. Is that what they call Bantam?
