We had lots of Indian Paintbrush other wildflowers though.

I hear ya on the cats and irresponsible people. We sometimes get cats and dogs around here, too. One of the cats decided to just never leave us, but we already have three dogs and simply couldn't keep him. (Not to mention that whenever I spoke to him or pet him, he would salivate. lol! I don't know what that was about, but he only did it with me. We knew we couldn't keep him, so we we were careful not to pay too much attention to him; other than offering him shelter outside and feeding him). LUCKILY, we were able to take him to the vet and give him to my uncle. He's been neutered and gets his flea medication.

Goodness does that cat look different now! He is BEAUTIFUL. He's gained some healthy weight and his coat is so fluffy he looks like a show cat. It's amazing.Kristin_Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03808112745202770661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1755931701182556976.post-30967605183133445042017-04-30T18:13:03.178-07:002017-04-30T18:13:03.178-07:00What a glorious sight your wildflower meadow is!!

I hate it when people dump animals, and it's not just in the country, there are lots of them here in the suburbs, too. And, like after a forest fire, the vegetation always comes back often more abundant than before. The kitten was so adorable and glad to read that its siblings and mama cat will be safe from harm and hopefully all adopted. So nice of you to take good care of them all!Beatrice P. I live near a creek and dumped animals have been a problem. It makes me so angry that people are so irresponsible with their animals! Our area has organizations that will spay feral cats at a very low cost and release them back into the area where they came from if the person that brings them in is willing to feed them. My SIL has three she has taken into her home and 3 that live outside. We have been trapping strays and taken them to the shelter because if we don't they just multiply so fast it's unbelievable. I admit that I am not a cat person, but I do love most animals and have a big heart for them.
xx, CarolCarol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1755931701182556976.post-31619549395685149692017-04-23T16:21:10.289-07:002017-04-23T16:21:10.289-07:00Oh Kathleen, I am so happy to see all those beauti...Oh Kathleen, I am so happy to see all those beautiful wildflowers growing.
