It smells like someone has covered the grounds with .................

wildflower perfume.............it smells wonderful!
Wildflowers are in the woods

across the meadow

along the drive

and even where the ground looks uninviting.

Making all of the grounds beautiful

and a walk breath taking.

To add to the beauty, a rainbow arched it's way over the house after a nice rain yesterday.
Here's hoping wildflowers and rainbows
for you this week!

Wow at the rainbow! Those are such sweet wildflowers and it's so good to see Sophie. I know you both are enjoying your walks!

We took a walk in the woods today, wild flowers and red bud trees in full bloom......sadly no sweet scent! Hurray for signs of spring!

Wild flowers have such a special place in our world don't they. A lot of them around here are considered to be weeds; for instance, our pastures are almost ready to burst forth with wild buttercups, a real troublesome weed to us. Not much smell to them. I brought in a lilac flower this evening, and what a wonderful smell we have! Our red bud tree is in full bloom and the bees are busy.

Hello Kathleen,

It looks beautiful, we have had some lovely rain over the last couple of days. So grateful for it.

Happy rainbows to you too.
Bev.

Love the wild flowers. Love the rainbow too.

Lovely, and to think they grew without lots of nurturing, planting, watering, just nature all by herself, another of life's wonders to be so thankful for. Walking there, what a treat for you both.

Oh how lovely! Your season is far more advanced than mine, but I spied some daffodil buds showing color this morning in the garden, and the lilacs will bloom in around 4 weeks. Enjoy the beauty of spring!

things are starting to bud and bloom here in the NC mountains. What is the blue flower? Something bonnets? It sure is pretty.

What a lovely post, Kathleen! I wish I could be there to smell the fragrance and see all those pretty wildflowers.

Every year at this time, I wish I could drive across Texas just to see and smell your wildflowers. Or, maybe, you could just bottle up some sweet Texas wildflower perfume and send my way.

So much beauty everywhere, if we have eyes to see it, and take time to realize the delicate ( or not so delicate ) scent is tiny wildflowers so easy to miss unless you take the time to stop and "smell the roses" .

So much beauty there at your place this time of the year and a rainbow thrown in to boot !

Oh, I love wildflowers. These are such pretty pictures. I'd love to have our entire yard in wildflowers, but I guess the grasshoppers would destroy them also.
