It's freezing outside and the hard wind's a blowing
The trees are a swaying  and it's lightly snowing,
But tomorrow the sun will be shining,.......... you'll see,
And all of this bad weather will be just a memory.

That's Texas weather..........we are all used to..........
We stay snuggled in, one day, nothing  to do,
But by the next morning, we're out for a while,
With the warm sun shining, making us smile!
(Kathleen)

If you are freezing today............
hope tomorrow, the sun will shine and warm you up!

I am ready for spring and warm weather. Right now it's thundering, raining and 40 degrees. I am cold to the bone! Looks like we'll have a fire in the wood burning stove tonight and perhaps a movie!

Hi Kathleen!
I enjoyed your weather poem. Here in Tennessee we call that kind of weather our Weather Roller Coaster.
Have a great week!

I like the painting; it seems to me that all of Norman Rockwell's paintings are excellent. Stay warm, my Texas friend. Like you say, the weather changes fast.

Very sweet poem, Kathleen. It was sunny here today, but we are in for some major weather tomorrow according to the news. Still looking forward to the arrival of spring.

So you're a poet too? Such talents you have! We keep having strong, cold winds but we're just a tad too warm for snow; just rain -- so far. One maple has little red buds; too early I'm afraid.

I'm trying to think of warmer days too, Kathleen... I know it won't be very long until I'll be complaining about the heat! *haha*

Kathleen, I have been hearing account of these recent snow storms and hope that you are not experiencing the worst of the blizzard as folks in KS and MO seem to be. We are currently getting lots of rain.

Texas does weather like Texas does everything else, in a big way and her( his?)own way. Storms give me a good reason to stay indoors where I always have things to do. I suspect you do too.

Sunny but cool and windy here today, Kathleen. We were in Denver when the blizzard hit over the weekend. I'm glad to be a Texas gal!

I sure hope you are having warm weather now in Texas. I'm ready for spring. Today dozens of robins flocked to our yard and the daffodils have bloomed. I look forward to warm weather.
