Old wooden cola cases have always been a favorite of mine to collect.

I have only a few.............
Royal Crown ( RC) is one brand that I have, in which I placed my various old soda pop bottles in.

The favorite Coca Cola case is another brand I have as well. I noticed how wonderful the little square opening are and realized that they could be used for my small collections...............

One I use for my small nature and

farm figures.

I love collecting miniature perfume bottles as well............
although, until recently, I have had them all stored in a box............

until I used this cola case as a wonderful way to display them all..........

and now I can enjoy looking at my perfume bottle collection.
I have another that I am going to store my thimbles and sewing collections in .............
How about you?
Do you have a favorite thing you like to collect?
Do you store them on shelves or in some other unique way?
I would love to hear!

I love your collection and how you found a neat way to show them. I love old wooden crates, they come in handy in so many ways.

That is a wonderful idea, Kathleen~ I LOVE how you've displayed your miniatures in the crates! So cute!
I would love to have a few cola crates too, but the antique stores around here want a fortune for them and it's hard to find them other places that aren't broken.
I love finding old glass bottles too.

My son has a few crates as he used to collect them years ago. Great idea displaying your minis in them, I like that. I used to collect mice and still have a few but I just have them around the house.(not real of course)
Like your perfume bottles. Hugs, Lu

Your collections look so nice in the crates. I have a Dr. Pepper crate with a couple of little dolls in it; only four compartments in it. My Coca Cola crate holds bills.

I have several Avon bottles; do you empty the perfume? I'd really hate to get the smell all over everything in case one broke!

You asked about my little quilts; usually I reduce the size of the blocks of big patterns to make these. I can't really put a time table on how long it takes to make one since I have to"steal" a little time from farm work to work on them, and no, I don't have an Etsy shop. Thanks for asking!

Daddy worked for the Nehi Bottling Company as a truck driver delivering those cases of RC's to the stores when I was a very small child. You've put those wooden cases to very good use! I love it when we can reuse something that a lot of people would just throw away.

Hello Kathleen.

Wow the displays look beautiful, especially love the perfume bottles.

I have a couple of crates mainly from wine that I have bought at garage sales and they hold garden books.

happy collecting.

I love those coke bottle containers. It's funny b/c someone on facebook just posted that they bought some of the containers at a flea market and they're using them for shot glasses. It's a perfect size for small collections!

My favorite thing to collect? Teapots! and I have recently expanded my collection quite a bit at a church yardsale where and elderly lady gave her vast collection to the sale. The church was blessed and so was I!

Kathleen. quite a clever way to show off your small collectibles. My only concern would be having to dust them all one-by-one which seems like it could get time-consuming. We used to collect frog and penguin stuffed toys and other items and also teddy bears; some we bought, many were given as gifts. We've weeded out those collections and donated many...but still have quite a few.

I, too, have cola cases. Two on top of my fridge holding bottles, two outside at the garden shed holding hand implements, etc. Wait --- I think one of them disappeared the last time my daughter came home!

I've been collecting vintage pitchers. Don't really know how that started, but it did. They are all on the top shelves of my kitchen cabinet - open shelves! Beatrice reminded me that they need dusting... :(

What a wonderful way to display your keepsake treasures! The boxes are treasures in themselves too.
