The snow has finally melted away.................

although it took a while in doing so..............

during the time I could not get outside to piddle in the yard,
I stayed inside and crocheted...............

quilted and embroidered............

now the sun is warming up the earth and the wind is not blowing as bad..........
maybe I can convince Sophie to come out of her blanket and go take a walk with me this afternoon.

Your crochet and stitchery work is so lovely, Kathleen. I'm glad to hear your snow is melting so you can get out and walk more. That photo of Sophie made me laugh. She looks like a little old woman wearing a woolen scarf! haha! :D

Your beautiful work never ceases to amaze me! Perfect projects for days you were snowed in. We're warm here for now but the temperature is supposed to drop this afternoon; maybe I can slip in a few quilting stitches.

Cute potholders, Kathleen. And of course your crochet is beautiful, too. Hey, Sophie, come out of that blanket! I know she would if she'd looked outside the window! She would be ready to go walking after being cooped up!

Your work is Beautiful..I have just not been able to get in the mood to do much since Christmas. Our snow is gone too and we had pouring rain last night with thunder (tornado warnings) and I was up most of the night with Annie in my lap. She has Epilepsy and gets very scared when we have thunder and rain.
I love your Doggie in the blanket..such a cute pose. Maybe I should try and get in the mood to sew and finish my BIG pups dog coats :)

Awwww, Sophie is precious! That photo is adorable!

Your quilting and embroidery is just lovely as is your crochet.

I'm glad your snow is disappearing. It's great to see the ground again.
We still have snow on the ground even after 40 days, from our two previous blizzards. It's in large patches, especially in the shady areas, and is hard packed ice and snow. And wherever there isn't any snow, there is boot sucking mud to contend with. I am ready for winter to be over.

Sophie, honey, I don't blame you for wanting to stay wrapped in your blanket.

The weather around here is odd, one day it's snowing to beat the band, and the next day it's in the 40's and raining.

Amazing job on the crocheting and the quilted potholders, How lovely!

Aren't snowy days just the best ever for working on stitcheries? You have accomplished so much these days. Your work is always so, so lovely!

Kathleen, your work is very beautiful! Love those potholders. I love this time of year too, when it seems we can slow down a little and listen to the wind outside and still be warm inside, doing whatever craft or work our hands find to do. Our lives are blessed!

Sophie has the right idea. stay in the blanket and wait for spring. Productive time for you - you and that clever needle you wield!
