A cool spell has swept across the prairie

allowing the days to be pleasant enough for long walks along mesquite filled ranch land and barbed wire fences. A time to slow down.........enjoy........and to be grateful.

And in between that "slow time".............. I stitch.
The past few weeks, I have been stitching on this "Seasonal Clothesline set"  There is a stocking filled with colorful leaves for Fall, a colorful mitten filled with greenery and berries for Winter, an apron with a pocketful of strawberries for Spring, and a whimsical bonnet full of white daisies for Summer. A delightful little bluebird is featured in each design.
One set for me........I have wanted to stitch it for years..........and the other set is to sell in my Etsy on line shop.  To see more on this pretty design set, you can visit my embroidery blog

 How about you?
Is this a slowing down time for you..........or is this the busiest time of year?
I would love to hear!

Oh my goodness, that is all hand stitched? You have lightening fast fingers. Lovely set.

I use to cross stitch, I have so many stitched designs I have never done anything with them. All sitting in a drawer... but what drawer?

We are having some cool weather too and I am lovin' it.

I'm glad the weather is pleasant where you are, all I've been seeing is fire sweeping across Texas and praying that your okay..The stitching is lovely, and takes a lot of patience to do..

I'll have a few days off from the chicken houses so I'm hoping to get a quilt finished. That will have to be worked in between final hay work.

I have also been thinking about you and the fires, wondering if they were in your area. It's all so tragic!!

Love your work!!
