I recognize Him!

People see God every day.........they just don't recognize Him.

-Pearl Bailey-

The quote above has always been one I keep in my heart..........because I recognize God every day, somewhere along the path of my life. I see Him in the colors and in the bounty that He gives us.............

Even when the flowers' petals are fading away...........God still whispers.......
"I am here".

I recognize him in all of the creatures, and in all good things,
because all good comes from Him.
How about you? Do you recognize him when you look up into the clouds, or the starry night sky?
Or do you see him in the innocent face of a sweet little one?
I would love to hear!

I sure do...and I feel like I am with him when I look into the sky, or call upon him in prayer. :D

Most definitely, Kathleen!!!

I am constantly in artist mode - I'm looking around 24/7 at the beautiful world that God gave us. I can't NOT NOTICE things. But not just what we can see, but what we feel and what we can see and sense in other people!

How people can go through life and not recognize that there IS a God is beyond me!

Since I am most often at home, I see God in the garden, butterflies, birds, our pets and my husband. I am so very thankful for the many blessings we have. Beautiful pictures tonight Kathleen.

Since we are retired and I don't get out much I see him every day in the face of my 4 girls (my dogs) especiall Maggies..to know that she survived Heart worm through the hands of a vet that God gave the need to him to save pets. I see him in all the things I do and I know he is close because we need a home and quick...heading up North and need a house and I do believe he will provide me with one. He may make me wait a little longer to let me know this should be my last move and I know his Angels will be in my car and the U Haul so we have a safe trip :)

I feel that every field is an area for worship. Each pasture is a reason to be thankful. I don't know how people can say that He isn't with us. Any closer and we would trip over Him.

Yes, I do - often and always. Practicing the presence of God.
The lantanas are not nearly so pretty once they lose their little bouquets, are they? But there is still beauty everywhere. Our Father gives us richly all things to enjoy. Glory to God!

Yes ma'am - and one of my favorite reminders is to sing How Great Thou Art when I'm outside with the critters - they don't mind my poor singing voice and it helps me praise to see the stars and hear the rolling thunder - It would take a real lack of understanding to live in the country and not see the Lord's creations as His work.

God is in our lives everyday if we just "be still" for a moment to feel him breathe..

Yes, I do. Clouds have always been a constant reminder to me. BTW, what are those berries in the photo.

It is so hard not to see Him in so many things, and so many blessings...I truly marvel at the blindness and hardness of heart of those who are unable to see the wonders of Him and His creation, they are abundant everywhere, yes, everywhere! If Corrie Ten Boom could see lice as a blessing in a prison camp, then surely even the poorest of us can see blessings around us.

Have a wonderful Sunday Kathleen~

Kathleen,
This is such a lovely posting. Your photos are beautiful and yes, I do see the Lord and His beauty in everyday things. Last evening we had one of the most magnificent sunsets I've seen in a long time. What a touching posting. I love it.

Yes, ma'am... I sure do!
When I look around, everywhere... all the blessings... even if it's just finding a "good spot" to park at the grocery store - even if there's NOT a good spot, I think of how He had saved that place for someone who needed it more than I.
There's just so much goodness that I'm almost hatefully disappointed in myself when I feel fussy or "icky". He's so good to us all!

Your gardens look incredible, as usual! Goodness, how you amaze me!
And your recipes.... oh my! I used to visit your cooking blog and would leave 10lbs. heavier. You are just so gifted! What a blessing you are to your family and you share with us, too!

Many Blessings,
Julie
