Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone........

Sophie................................
Where are you???....................
"Here I am!!................."
I have to say, it's moments like this that make me smile. On one of our late afternoon walks, Sophie and I went up the field road, that winds behind and beside our grounds. She loves darting in and out and jumping up and down in the tall wheat that the farmer's have recently planted. From the way her nose works and her tail wags, I am sure she is smelling the traces of some wild creature that has passed that way. I am so glad we did this when we did...............today it has been harvested, leaving nothing but short twigs, no more than a couple of inches high.

by the way I almost didn't read this post because I was afraid something had happened to Sophie!!!I'm feeling a little too tenderhearted at the moment to handle a dog gone story

What a cute post and pics of Sophie.

Many, many moons ago when we lived in Canton, Ohio, we had a dog named Boots. She LOVED the snow. Seeing the pics of Sophie reminded me of Boots. She looked like a rabbit hopping up and down in the snow.

Sure miss your posts, but I totally understand.

Blessings,
Jilly

Cute.
My Mom said we had a little dog that would follow me all over as a toddler...when she couldn't see me in the tall weeds, she would call the dog and he would jump up...revealing my whereabouts (o:
We have no green wheat...nada...that is a welcome sight.

I'm with LindaSue! I thought something had happened to Sophie! I'm glad she's okay and just cavorting through the wheat! Whew - she's having such fun. My little chihuahua loves to run through the hay at our place and we can barely see her when she's running around in it. Every once in awhile, she'll jump up high so she can see where she's at.

We miss your posts, Kathleen!
