My Shadow Has A Cold Nose

When I get prepared to head outside.................

this is what I see EVERY DAY!

And as I get my outside work done...........she is never far away.

No matter where I am ....inside......outside........

I look over my shoulder........

and this is what I see. How much I love my "cold nosed" shadow!
How about you? What kind of shadow do you have?
I would love to hear!

My shadow is a beautiful cat named Chloe. Don't we love our animal friends? They are ever so faithful.

I do love your pictures of Sophie - she is a faithful friend. I have a rat terrorist named Conan and our wonderful barn cat named Moe. They even brave going into the goat pens with me and the goats get perturbed at these little intruders.

What precious pictures of Sophie. My shadow has a cold, wet nose too - Harriet, our dachshund. She likes to share my bed pillow and rests her cold nose on the back of my neck! oooohhhhhh!

And what a lovely shadow she is. Max the poodle is my constant shadow too. He's always next to me or behind me or underfoot. Sophie looks like she is a very sweet friend. :)

Kathleen - I love that face. Look at the worshipful way she looks at you. You are definitely 'her person' - her sun around which she can orbit. Doesn't it make a person want to do and be their very best for these creatures that loves us so? It does me - my best dog was my little Pom that I had for 13 years. She's gone now, but my ugly little chihuahua has taken her place and she looks at me with the same adoring eyes...

Thanks for your sweet comments about my little farmhouse! Wish I could invite everyone over!

That looks very familiar, Kathleen! Bruno is with me wherever I go (if I let him). My family says if they can't find me to look for Bruno, 'cause that's where I am.

My shadows are chihuahuas that area always on my heels, especially in the kitchen. They stay so close they often get stepped on. But, I love them so!

Oh, Miss Kathleen!
Shadow is precious!!!! Dogs are the best, aren't they? We have 3 that always follow us around!

Don't worry, I haven't killed me a "wabbit", YET! We already had up fencing, but they got through anyway!!! We did put up more, the other day and now they have no excuses.... if they come through, again, I've got a gun!!!

How did y'all fare through the storms, yesterday?

Oh! And you should put a warning up on that food blog.... I went perusing through all the posts... OH, NO! I was drooling all over the keyboard! Just mean, I tell ya, mean, mean, mean...

I wish you many blessings, anyway!

Well...my shadow would be one of my Granddaughters or daycare kids.
In the evening...the cat has me to herself (she stays away from the kids). She follows me around and almost trips me. If I am sitting in a chair... she sits at my feet and rubs my socks till they are HAIRY (o:

So does mine! Only mine has longer fur. I think I'd really like Sophie. She reminds me of Beau in her expression, her way of pulling her ears near her head when you look at her, and her insistence at staying close at hand. She is so sweet looking! We sure love our dogs!

I have two wild and crazy 7 month old chocolate labs, Emma and Lucy. Emma is the spaz, Lucy is the love who grins from ear to ear. Both have exceedingly cold noses. Lots of love.

I love dogs! Since Wendy's untimely death, her companion, Dudley is my shadow. He follows me from room to room. Also, my ginger cat, Goldie, sits with me at the computer this very moment. She sleeps beside me at night. I love her dearly. Animals are such comforting spirits--I do believe the Lord sends them to us to minister to us in a very physical way. V.

I have a few cold nose shadows, and they do the same. Love the eyes your shadow has, so adoring.

My shadows are my almost two year and five year old. I have a bucket of tools for them. (We still have at last three months before we can do any serious digging, though). But when we go to the hen house or to shovel, they are there...
Warm wishes,
Tonya

Kathleen,
I love your shadow. What a beautiful dog. My shadow is also my black lab dog, Pepper. He follows me around, watches what I do and is my best friend.

Well today my "shadow" seems to be about two comments ahead of me. My shadow always has a story or two to entertain me with while I work. But pretty soon my shadow will get married and move away and then I will miss the stories and entertainment.

I just love your shadow. Mine is Tipper, she really belongs to my son, however, I'm the one who feeds, takes her outside every morning and gives her a bath.
