In-between holidays

Hello everyone, and thank you all for visiting me and leaving your sweet comments. I trust by now that Thanksgiving has left you and your family full and that all of your dishes has been cleaned and put away!{: Even though the weather is getting colder, it is still quite warm. The trees are still hanging on to their leaves. Not much is growing outside, but I have so much to do. I have flower beds to clean out and grounds to break up for next year's gardens. The ducks have moved into the hen house with the chickens and now I have a mess to clean. The pond will get it's last cleaning for ( I hope) the winter. I need to get more shelves into the green house and my embroidery is piling up! And before I know it, Christmas will be here! Everyone have a wonderful week!

I went to someone else's house, so no dishes to do. But, I let my house get in a big mess, so I have cleaning to do. Do the chickens and ducks get along?

We went to another family for the feast but now have my brother (from Odessa!) and his wife coming for a couple of days. Windy and wintry here today - we are putting up Christmas decorations - just did our gated entrance and now DH is out putting up lights around our porch. Looks so pretty at your place - a touch of fall color goes a long way in your part of the world!

I still can't believe that Thanksgiving is already done and gone! It seems like it was just summer. Whew. Time flies.

Everything is still out at my house. One kid leaves tomorrow and my Nashville boy is staying til next weekend (thank goodness!) He says the music industry kind of shuts down until after the first of the year - not much going on. I'm glad to have him as long as possible! I'm also happy to have a big mess for another few days! You sound like a busy lady - hope you get alot done and then you can relax and enjoy the season! Vickie

Sounds like you have plenty to keep you busy! The dishes are cleaned up and put away here, but there are still leftovers from Thanksgiving in the refrigerator. We have snow on the ground here too! Hope you have a nice week, Kathleen! :)
