weeds

No pictures of the garden yet, just tons of weeds. The harsh Texas wind has been blowing high gusts and with the temperature in the high 90's, it is worse than a giant blow dryer. My newly planted plants from the greenhouse are trying to hang on. The wind has already destroyed 3 healthy plants. Since it does not get cold in this part of country until late October, I think I may wait until the last of May to start planting next year. By then the winds have died down. So for now, I am replanting seed in the greenhouse to replace what has been lost. The pea garden is doing well, as well as the tomato and onion. I will spend this week catching up on reading you other blogger's wonderful posts, pulling weeds and stitching. Hopefully, I will have something to post and show next week.

It has been windy in my neck of the woods too-but our temps have been cooler than usual so far. It is annoying to get it all planted and then Mother Nature take over.

It's been really WET around our neck of the woods. Our gardens (BOTH of them!) are looking pretty darn weedy. We haven't had a chance to get at them wit the hoe yet!!
